Getting there

The Wildcoast Wildrun(r) starts in Kei Mouth, which is approximately 90kms from East London, and ends in Coffee Bay, approximately 285kms from East London.

Getting to the start of the event and getting home again from the finish, is not included in the entry fee.

To make logistics a bit easier, Wildrunner arrange transfers that are completely optional and at an additional cost to the entry fee. The cost of transfers is communicated to runners when transfer bookings open (i.e. yearly).

The transfers offered are:

Transfer Approximate duration
East London Airport to Kei Mouth (Start) 1hr
Coffee Bay (Finish) to East London Airport 5hr
Coffee Bay (Finish) to Kei Mouth 5hr

Important note: No transfer will depart Coffee Bay earlier than 05h00 on the day runners go home, so please DO NOT book a return flight any earlier than 11h00. The approximate transfer duration is slightly inflated to ensure no delays will affect you making your flight.

The transfer lists for those that have booked will be posted on the website before the event. Runners will need to check their transfer details prior to departing, to ensure details are correct.

How to Book a Transfer
