What people experienced

This run delivered on everything that I expected. The logistics was mind-blowing - the experience of a lifetime!

"I just want to say a huge thank you to you and Owen and your entire caring professional team. The attention to detail in making this a memorable life experience didn't go unnoticed. I am super grateful for the amazing goodie bag and the kit bag! How you guys managed to make the camping so very liveable in such a remote place, I'll never know! Thank you for creating an experience which allowed me to experience what could easily be the most beautiful place I've ever been."

"Thank you so much for another life-changing event. It's is truly a privilege to get to explore such a remarkable area, whilst making memories with my dad that will last both our lifetimes. If it weren't for your time and dedication to bringing incredible adventures to everyday people, we would never be able to experience something so unique. Can't wait for the next adventure!"

"I really just wanted to send both of you a huge Thank You to you and your team. Last week was truly a remarkable experience that I am battling to describe to anyone who asks – closest word is EPIC and that doesn’t do it enough justice. It is 5 days that shifts every person that attends. Your professional team, service and approach to every detail certainly made it that very special. So big up to you both – big thanks to your whole team and look forward to seeing you at many future events."

Not only was this event in a stunning location, but it was also one of the best organised events I have ever done. Highly recommended.

'I just wanted to tell you how super impressed Andrew and I were with you all and the whole organisation and efforts that you put into this event.  You are very special people and you organised a very special event and did so in the most charming and delightful way! You clearly have the knack of getting a great team together! We still cannot believe the venue and surroundings that you took us to and I so grateful that people like you make the effort to organise such events! It was the trip that exceeded all of our expectations by a million miles (or kilometres) and despite previous great holidays and trips - Andrew and I feel that this one outshone them all.'

'Thank you, thank you for the most magical time last week.  It really was the best event I’ve ever been to, and by far the one that I’ve enjoyed the most. Initially I was worried that I hadn’t done enough training blah blah, but as we got further into the run I realised more and more that its really more about the people than the running.  You guys and all the runners.

So – to you guys and all the unrelenting hard work you and your team put into looking after us – thank you again.'

"Simply the most amazing running experience I've had."

'Now that I’ve had a weekend to relflect I just wanted to thank you, Owen and the whole team (cleaners, tent setter-uppers, donkey-boiler heaters, drivers, checkpoint teams, National Park staff, cooks, rubbish collectors etc etc) - so much work by so many people to allow a privileged few of us to experience a really wild place.

The running went better than I had thought it would and I’m sad it’s over. I went for a long mountain hike at the weekend (amazing how bodies can recover).

Wildrunner is a fantastic outfit.'

To be able to run in areas that are truly remote was such a privilege and so good for my soul. To enjoy nature while doing what I love most, running, put a smile on my face that even at difficult times was hard to remove. To be able to run alongside my friend, an activity that we have been doing since we were 12, had deep meaning to both of us. And then to have the incredible logistics that seemed effortless, although I know it wasn’t, made the event relaxing for runner like me. To be met by the 2 of you at the finish every day, clapping us in and welcoming us made pushing for the finish all that more special.
